At least 2.2 Honours degree (single or joint honours) or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University, in French and/or Irish and/or Spanish. German alone is not considered but is welcomed in combination with French and/or Spanish. In all Honours degrees, modules in Modern Languages must make up at least 50% of the qualification.

Applicants should normally have a Masters degree from a recognised university with CGPA 3.2/4 or 60%.

Applicants holding a four-year Bachelor degree from Public Universities or selected Private institutions (see list below) with CGPA 3.2/4.0 or B+/65% will also be considered.

Students who have completed a 2 or 3 year Bachelor degree with good grades followed by a good Masters degree will be considered on an individual basis.

UK Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2)

Applicants should normally have a Masters degree from a recognised university with a CGPA 3.0/4.

Applicants holding a four-year Bachelor degree from Public Universities or selected Private institutions (see list below) with CGPA 3.0/4.0 or B/60% will also be considered.

Students who have completed a 2 or 3 year Bachelor degree with good grades followed by a good Masters degree will be considered on an individual basis.
