Academic Requirements:
The table below outlines the minimum entry qualifications for SGU Doctor of
Medicine (MD) programmes offered in Newcastle. Please note that the Seven
Year Medical Pathway is not currently available in Newcastle. Students who
wish to join this programme can find further information on the SGU website.
Students who wish to join the Four Year Doctor of Medicine (MD4) programme
must hold a Bachelors degree with a strong science focus.
Please note that the SGU Faculty Student Selection Committee will consider
the whole of each applicants background academic, personal development,
extracurricular activities, social commitment when making determinations
for suitability for admission.
