A UK Citizen or have permanent residency:
Academic Requirements:
Prior experience in teaching or in schools is not a pre-requisite of
acceptance onto the course. Trainees can include recent graduates who have
secured a teaching or teaching assistant job in a school, career changers
and teachers/assistants who have worked in a school for a time but have no
formal teaching qualification.
To gain entry to the course, all trainees must:
Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent as assessed by NARIC
Be employed in a school for the duration of your study
Form outside UK Students:
Bangladesh
Academic Requirements:
Students who have passed the 4 years of BA/Bcom/BSc with a score of 65%
overall.
Students from the following Universities will be considered with 55% in a
3-year degree programme: NSU, Brac, IUB, East West, AIUB. Bangladesh
University of Professional. BUET. Other 3-year degree programmes require 65%
overall.
English Language Requirements:
* Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.5
overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill or TOEFL iBT with a score of 88
and a minimum component score of 19.
India
Academic Requirements:
Students must achieve 60% in a 3 Year Undergraduate Degree or 55% in a 4
Year.Undergraduate Degree Students from the following Universities will be
considered with 55% in a 3 Year Undergraduate Degree (unless applying for Health
and Life Science courses): Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai (Madras), Anna,
Amity, Andhra Pradesh, Aligarh Muslim, Pune, Bangalore and JNTU.
65% in Standard XII English language from certain examination boards only
(Central boards, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra
Pradesh, Kerala and Uttarakhand)
English Language Requirements:
* IELTS 6.5 overall with no component lower than 5.5 (except where
course requirements are higher) and other acceptable SELT tests such as the
Pearson Test of English (PTE).
Pakistan
Academic Requirements:
Students must pass a three-year BA/Bcom/BSc with 60% overall from a
recognised university.
Students must achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5 minimum
in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.
OR
Students must pass 4 years bachelor’s degree with 55% overall from a
recognised institution.
Students must also achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5
minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.
OR
Students must achieve 60% overall from a 2-year bachelors and 2-year
Master’s degree.
Students must also achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5
minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.
For all LLM LAW courses:
Students must achieve 50% overall pass mark in the end of year/annual exam,
mainly from the following Universities in Pakistan:
University of the Punjab
University of Karachi
University of Sindh
University of Peshawar
Students must achieve 60% overall pass mark from other Universities
especially as most only complete the semester exams.
English Language Requirements:
* Students must have achieved a score in their IELTS or Pearson PTE of
6.5 with minimum 5.5 in each test.
Nepal
Academic Requirements:
Students who have passed 3 years BA with an overall score of 60%.
Students who have passed the 4 years BE/Btech with 55% overall or higher.
English Language Requirements:
* Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.5
overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill or TOEFL iBT with a score of 88
and a minimum component score of 19.
Albania
Academic Requirements:
Complete the Diplomë e Nivelit të Pare (First Level (University) Diploma) with 8/10 or above, student with a 7 or 6 to be considered on individual basis, orCompletion of the Diplomë Universitare (University Diploma) and Pre-Masters or additional higher level study.
English Language Requirements:
* IELTS 6.5 overall with minimum 5.5 in each skill
Nigeria
Academic Requirements:
Students who hold a Bachelor degree at 2:2 or 55% and above.
English Language Requirements:
* Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.5
overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill or equivalent – WAEC English
minimum C.
Ghana
Academic Requirements:
Students who hold a Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma with 2:2 or higher.
English Language Requirements:
* Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.5
overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill or equivalent – WASSCE English
minimum C.
