AAB including Biology and at least one from Chemistry (preferred), Geography, Mathematics or Physics + GCSE Chemistry grade C/4 or + GCSE Double Award Science grades CC/4,4 + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4

AAB including Double Award Applied Science or Double Award Life & Health Sciences + GCSE Biology and Chemistry grade C/4 or GCSE Double Award Science grades CC/4,4 + GCSE Mathematics grade C/4

It would be an advantage to have studied Chemistry beyond GCSE level.

A maximum of one BTEC/OCR Single Award or AQA Extended Certificate will be accepted as part of an applicant's portfolio of qualifications with a Distinction* being equated to a grade A at A-level and a Distinction being equated to a grade B at A-level.

Academic Requirements:

The following qualifications will be considered for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes:

* Three A levels

* Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).

* The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level). Note: Applicants will be required to provide an official Digilocker verification of their Standard XII grades/certificates.

Typical offers (minimum overall average percentage) for applicants with Standard XII would be as follows:

- 85% (comparable to AAB at A-Level)
- 80% (comparable to ABB at A-Level)
- 75% (comparable to BBB at A-Level)
- 70% (comparable to BBC at A Level)
