All offers are made on the basis of interviews. All candidates will be ranked and a proportion selected for interview. Offers will be made on the results of the interview.

There are 45 places for UK and EU (Republic of Ireland) applicants and interviews take place in person. There are 15 places available for International and European Union (Other) students on the BDS degree and interviews for these students take place online.

The application procedure varies for undergraduate and postgraduate students, so we publish separate information for each. You'll also need to be able to provide evidence of a specified level of ability in the English language.

The following qualifications may be considered for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes:

The Higher Secondary Certificate/Intermediate Certificate (Year 12) with grades 3.5/A- or higher, plus an approved Foundation Programme or
3 UK A Levels or
Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).

Academic Requirements:

The following qualifications will be considered for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes:

* Three A levels

* Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).

* The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level). Note: Applicants will be required to provide an official Digilocker verification of their Standard XII grades/certificates.

Typical offers (minimum overall average percentage) for applicants with Standard XII would be as follows:

- 85% (comparable to AAB at A-Level)
- 80% (comparable to ABB at A-Level)
- 75% (comparable to BBB at A-Level)
- 70% (comparable to BBC at A Level)

* Intermediate/Higher Education Secondary School Examinations (Year 12) with good grades plus a recognised Foundation programme.

* Completion of a two or three-year Bachelor degree with a first division (60%+).

* Candidates holding the (Diploma of State Matura) with good grades, plus a recognised Foundation programme (such as the Queen's INTO International Foundation) will be considered;

* Applicants who have completed one year of University study in Albania in relevant subjects may also be considered on a case by case basis.

Academic Requirements:

* Applicants with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Senior Secondary School Certificate will be required to complete a Foundation Programme.

* Applicants holding a Ghanaian Higher National Diploma may be considered for entry to the first year of undergraduate courses with a CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) and above

* Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Ghanain University degree in a relevant subject will be considered for admission to the first year of undergraduate degree programmes.
