Academic Requirements:
Applicants must hold 240 credits (120 level 4, 120 level 5 or 6). Applicants
have to be registered on Part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council
Register and will normally have completed a period of experience of
sufficient length to have consolidated preregistration outcomes and to have
gained a deeper understanding in relevant professional practice. Further
requirements: Satisfactory references, Disclosure and Barring Service
Screening, Literacy and numeracy screening, Satisfactory occupational health
screening. The employing organisation is responsible for undertaking these
additional checks.
