ABB to include Mathematics and one from Physics, Chemistry, Technology & Design, Design & Technology, Engineering or Electronics.

Applicants for the MEng Hons Electronic Engineering course, not eligible for entry to the MEng, will automatically be considered for entry to the BEng Hons Electronic Engineering course both at offer making stage and once results have been received.
Applied General Qualifications

QCF Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering with overall award profile D*DD. Also requires Distinction in a unit of Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians.

or

RQF (2016) Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Engineering with profile DDM to include a Distinction in Engineering Principles and Distinction in Further Engineering Mathematics.

RQF (2019) Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Engineering with profile D*DD to include a Distinction in Engineering Principles and Distinction in Further Engineering Mathematics.

Note: The RQF Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Engineering will satisfy the subject requirement as long as it includes Merit in Engineering Principles and only when presented with Merit in an additional module, Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems

The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment accepts combinations of A Levels, BTEC Subsidiary Diploma/National Extended Certificate, 90-Credit Diploma/National Foundation Diploma and BTEC Diploma/ National Diploma.

Form outside UK Students:

Academic Requirements:

* Higher secondary certificate with 70% overall
* Successful completion of 2 years of an undergraduate degree with 50% or above
* 4 year Diploma in Engineering from Bangladesh Technical Education Board with overall 75%

Normally Ulster University welcomes applications from students with:

All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with an overall average of 60% to include 50% or above in 5 subjects Where a course has subject-specific requirements 60% will be required in each of these subjects.
