Degree requirements

You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above.
Subject-specific requirements

You will need:

a strong knowledge and understanding of Primary education, and a sound awareness of current issues in state English Primary schools;
a degree in a subject related to the Primary national curriculum, or a related subject such as child development, psychology, etc. Your qualification must be from an approved Higher Education institution or validating body;
GCSE English, Mathematics and a science subject at grade C (or equivalent). You must provide evidence of these qualifications at interview.
