Entry requirements are set by our partner SCITTs. Usually, a good honours degree of at least lower second class (2:2) standard is required.

The DfE stipulates that all those entering on a course of teacher training must have English and Maths at GCSE 'C'/4 or above, or equivalent, for Secondary (11-18). For the Primary route, candidates will also need Science GCSE at grade 'C'/4 or above.

Your partner SCITT will ensure successful completion of the Occupational Health Clearance and a satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.

Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce (Honours) awarded after 4 years of study at a good institution with a final grade of at least 60% or a GPA of 2.5/4.0

Bachelor degree (Professional subjects) awarded after at least 4 years of study at a good institution with a final grade of at least 60% or a GPA of 2.5/4.0

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a recognised university

For programmes requiring a 2:2:
A minimum final grade of 60% or a GPA of 2.5/4.0

For programmes requiring a 2:2:
