Academic Requirements:
The International Foundation Diploma offers international students with a
minimum age of 17, who are not eligible for direct entry, an alternative
route to studying a bachelor's degree at University College Birmingham.
You are required to show successful completion of 12 years of schooling (or
the local equivalent to meet the same standard).
You will require at least IELTS SELT 5.0 (with no less than 4.5 in each
element). Support in developing/renewing the skills of learning at this
level of study will be provided to all participants, and University College
Birmingham will look for evidence of potential students' ability to benefit
from and succeed on the programme of study.

Nepal
Academic Requirements:
Students must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year
12) with CGPA 2.8 or above. Students who have studied 2 years of a Bachelor
Degree in Nepal may be accepted on to year 2 of a related Undergraduate
Degree programme at UCB provided they have studied a relevant course.
International Foundation Diploma - IFD
Students holding Higher Secondary Certificate with an average of less than
60% will typically be considered for entrance to the International
Foundation Year.
