Advanced Higher Chemistry and Maths recommended for S6 study and to compensate for missed Higher grades in S5.

Minimum entry requirements**:
Year 1 entry: AABB/AAAC (Chemistry A, Maths A and Physics)

Advanced Higher Chemistry and Maths recommended for S6 study and to compensate for missed Higher grades in S5. Applicants with grades slightly below the minimum requirements may be considered for admission subject to successful completion of the Strathclyde STEM Summer School.

Academic Requirements:

The Higher Secondary Certificate is sufficient to apply for undergraduate programmes at Strathclyde if excellent marks have been achieved (ie over 75% in all subjects). Applicants with marks much less than this will be required to undertake a foundation/access programme. We encourage students with A levels to apply, and students with strong marks can often enter the second year of a Strathclyde undergraduate programme.

National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND) holders with strong grades may be eligible for direct entry to undergraduate programmes.

Students with International Baccalaureate, A-Levels or American/Canadian High School Diplomas can also be considered for direct entry.
