Academic Requirements:
A-levels: An A-level grade profile of CD.
T-levels: A T-level graded Pass with a core component profile less than C.
BTEC: A BTEC grade profile of PP. This can be achieved from either an
Extended Diploma or a combination of smaller BTEC qualifications.
Tariff: Other Level 3 qualifications are accepted. A minimum of 48 UCAS
Tariff points will be required for entry.
Access to Higher Education Diploma: 48 UCAS Tariff points.
Non-tariff: Non-UCAS Tariff-based Level 3 qualifications are also considered

Work-based: We also give equal consideration to applicants who are currently
in work and wish to apply to University College Birmingham. To apply, you
must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, demonstrating
management or supervisory duties. Your application must also include a
reference from your line manager supporting your entry to higher education.

Nepal
Academic Requirements:
Students must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Year
12) with CGPA 2.8 or above. Students who have studied 2 years of a Bachelor
Degree in Nepal may be accepted on to year 2 of a related Undergraduate
Degree programme at UCB provided they have studied a relevant course.
International Foundation Diploma - IFD
Students holding Higher Secondary Certificate with an average of less than
60% will typically be considered for entrance to the International
Foundation Year.
