Academic Requirements:

This course lasts for one year and is designed as a 'top-up' if you have already successfully completed study equivalent to a Foundation Degree, HND or an equivalent professional qualification. At the end of it you will be eligible to receive a full U.K. honours degree.

We require applicants who have taken the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Intermediate Certificate to successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College (UPIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

You can apply to study a bachelor's degree from year one if you have a Bachelors degree from a recognised Bangladeshi institution, with at least two years of study.

We require applicants to have completed the High School Certificate (year 12) or the Indian School Certificate (year 12) or the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (known as the Delhi Indian School Certificate Examination Year 12) with at least 60% or above. Academic Requirements:

Applicants with the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) will normally require an international foundation course or equivalent for entry onto an undergraduate degree programme at the University. Generally, an overall average of 75% is required. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College (UPIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

Applicants with the HSSC with an overall average of 75% and a Bachelor (Pass) degree with a minimum of 60% will be considered for entry onto undergraduate degree programmes. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

We require applicants to have completed a Diploma van Secundair Onderwijs OR a Diploma van de Hogere Secundaire Technische School from the Flemish speaking community.

We require applicants to have completed a Abschlusszeugnis der Oberstufe des Sekundarunterrichts from the German speaking community.

We require applicants to have completed a Diplôme d'Aptitude à Accéder à l'Enseignement Supérieur or the Certificat d'Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur from the French speaking community when awarded after six years of study. The most common marking schemes are 1 to 10 and 1 to 20.

Academic Requirements:

We require applicants to have completed the West African Senior School Certificate with a minimum of C6 or above (in English and Maths) and the West African General Certificate of Education Advanced Level with good overall grades to be considered for first-year entry. The Ghanaian Higher National Diploma may also be considered for advanced entry on a case by case basis.
