The following units are essential and must be passed with Distinction: Principles and Applications of Science I, Practical Scientific Procedures and Techniques, Principles and Applications of Science II, Applications of Inorganic Chemistry, Applications of Organic Chemistry and Industrial Chemical Reactions

RQF Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Applied Science (2016 Suite) - Award profile of DM to include Distinctions in the units listed above plus one A Level grade B in any subject.

* Higher secondary certificate with 70% overall
* Successful completion of 2 years of an undergraduate degree with 50% or above
* 4 year Diploma in Engineering from Bangladesh Technical Education Board with overall 75%
