Academic Requirements:

Foundation Degree or HND qualification or equivalent with an accounting and/or finance related element.

Application for entry with Advanced Standing will be considered from students holding relevant professional qualifications, for example, CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning. Where applicable, equivalent international qualifications are acceptable.

Students who hold professional accounting or other accounting and finance qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

Any degrees, diplomas or certificates eligible above should have been taught and assessed in English, or English fluency to TOEFL 550 or higher, or IELTS 6 or higher.

Please note that whilst this course does not require a DBS Check for entry, some professions will not consider candidates who have certain types of criminal convictions. Therefore, if you have a criminal conviction and you are considering a particular career path we would recommend that you check with the relevant professional body or refer to their recruitment policy to make sure that your conviction will not disadvantage you.

* Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with A grade

* HSC scores with one or two B grades may be accepted on Business courses but would need to be considered on an individual basis for more specific subject areas

* Students below A grade (HSC) will be considered for a Foundation Course

* Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum can be considered for degree level entry- the normal UCAS tariff will be applied

* Undergraduate entry for applicants who have an overall average of 65% and above in the year 12 Intermediate (HSC) in a relevant subject area.

* Applicants with a 2 year Bachelor degree with 55% and above plus IELTS 6.0 or equivalent will be considered for advanced entry to year 2 or of a Bachelor degree depending on the subject area in question and the module match.

* There are a number of colleges in Pakistan which deliver HND qualifications from a number of awarding bodies. These can be considered for advanced entry onto a Bachelor degree on a case by case basis depending on the subject area in question and the module match.

* Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate in year 12 from CBSE (Central Board of School Education), HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate), NEB (National Education Board) or HSEB (Higher Secondary Education Board of Nepal) with a grade of 65% or above will be considered for direct entry onto an Undergraduate Degree.

* Applicants who have a CGPA of 2.8 or above will be considered for year 1

* Schooling certificate must be from Kathmandu

* Applicants who study the Edexcel or Cambridge A Level curriculum will follow the normal UCAS tariff.
